On 19 January 2026, Dr. Piyawan Limpanyalert, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Ake-Chittra Sukkul, Deputy Director of the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization), paid a New Year courtesy visit to Dr. Ailan Li, WHO Representative to Thailand, at the WHO Country Office for Thailand.

The meeting focused on enhancing international cooperation in the development of healthcare quality and patient safety systems, with the aim of advancing Thailand’s public health system in alignment with WHO strategic directions.

The visit underscored the continued collaboration between the Healthcare Accreditation Institute and the World Health Organization.
